Description
Garden Island Yacht Club is a community-focused yacht club located at 104 Garden Island Road, Garden Island, South Australia, on the Port Adelaide River. The club provides wet berths, dry storage and boating facilities for members.
The club has 60 wet berths for boats from 26 to 44 feet and 75 dry-storage spaces for vessels up to 49 feet. Its slipway facilities accommodate both monohull and multihull vessels, with lifting capacity of up to 25 tonnes for monohulls and up to 40 feet for multihulls.
Members also have access to a workshop, sail loft, secure storage lockers and a clubhouse with a kitchenette, lounge and BBQ area. The club is run by volunteers and hosts social events and working bees.
