Description
The Small Boat Club of SA is a family-friendly sailing and motorboat club located on Garden Island, South Australia, at the top of Angas Inlet near Port Adelaide. The club provides boating facilities for small to medium-sized boats and is situated within the Adelaide Dolphin Sanctuary.
The club offers marina berths with power and water, traditional chain moorings, a secure trailer park and hardstand areas for boat building and repairs. It also operates a working T-head jetty and two slipways capable of handling vessels up to 20 tonnes.
Club facilities include renovated club rooms with a bar, BBQ facilities, tea and coffee, as well as a trailer boat launching ramp, kayak rack and extensive boating work areas. The protected waters around the club are suitable for sailing, boating, fishing and kayaking.
