Description
South of Perth Yacht Club (SoPYC) is a large yacht club and marina located at Coffee Point in Applecross, Perth, Western Australia, overlooking the Swan and Canning Rivers. It is less than 10 minutes from Perth CBD and provides convenient access to the Swan River, Canning River and wider Perth boating area.
The club operates 473 water pens ranging from 5m to 25m, with each pen providing access to power and a shared water tap. In addition to water pens, the club has swing moorings and 145 hardstand bays for trailerable vessels.
Boating facilities include a private launch ramp, three 3-tonne launching/retrieval cranes, and a marine travel lift capable of handling vessels from 6m to 18m. The Eastern Hardstand also provides slipping, hardstand and maintenance facilities for both members and non-members.
The marina has PULP and diesel fuel, while members can access a black-water pump, ice box, 24/7 bathrooms, showers and change rooms. The club also has a restaurant and bar, with free Wi-Fi available to members.
