Description
Cruising Yacht Club of Australia (CYCA) is a prestigious waterfront yacht club located on New Beach Road in Darling Point, Sydney, overlooking Rushcutters Bay. Established in 1944, the club is internationally recognised as the home of the famous Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race and has a strong focus on ocean racing, cruising and sailing.
The club operates a 213-boat floating marina, providing deep-water berthing facilities for members and visiting yachts. It also has hardstand facilities for up to 20 Etchells and J24s, together with a crane available for boat owners. Casual berthing is available upon request, subject to marina availability.
The marina provides access to a range of boating support services, with marine contractors and yacht services available around the club. Its location on Rushcutters Bay provides convenient access to Sydney Harbour, while the club is only around three kilometres from Sydney CBD. Visitors can also access the clubhouse, waterfront dining and function facilities.
