Description
Phoebe Street Marina is a privately owned marina located at 5A Phoebe Street, Balmain, New South Wales, in a calm and sheltered bay between Sommerville Point and White Horse Point. The marina was formerly known as Camerons Marina and has been operated by Michael Bartley and his partner since 2021.
The marina offers 20 wet berths in a traditional timber piled-wharf arrangement for vessels up to 12 metres long and 4.5 metres wide, as well as 21 swing moorings for vessels up to 20 metres. Berths have access to power and water, while the marina also provides waste disposal and assistance with berth setup.
On-site marine services include shipwright and vessel management facilities, with a dedicated slipway capable of handling vessels up to 30 tonnes. Services include timber and composite boat repairs, restoration, antifouling, anode replacement and underwater inspections and repairs.
The marina has 24-hour CCTV security and all-day street parking. Balmain's pubs, cafés and high-street shops are nearby, while Birkenhead Point across the water provides access to refuelling, shopping and other services.
