Svitzer Tug Base is a marine tug operations facility located at Lot 103 Christy Drive, Port Kembla, New South Wales. The facility supports Svitzer's commercial towage operations at Port Kembla and provides a base for harbour tug services.
Svitzer provides harbour and terminal towage, firefighting and emergency response, line handling, buoy and jetty maintenance, safety patrols and personnel transfer services across Australian ports.
The Port Kembla tug base operates around the clock as part of Svitzer's marine operations. It is primarily a commercial tug facility rather than a recreational marina, so standard visitor marina amenities are not advertised.
