Description
Wollongong Yacht Club is a waterfront sailing club located at 8 Endeavour Drive, Belmore Basin, Wollongong, New South Wales, overlooking Wollongong Harbour and the Illawarra coastline. The club provides sailing, racing, social sailing and sailing education programs for members and visitors.
The club manages 10 permanent moorings in Wollongong Harbour for members, while casual moorings may occasionally be available. Casual berths are also available within Belmore Basin through the Wollongong Fisherman's Cooperative. Club moorings accommodate vessels up to 38 feet and 8 tonnes.
The waterfront clubhouse includes an on-site kiosk serving refreshments, while the harbour location provides convenient access to Wollongong's waterfront, restaurants, cafés and other local amenities.
