Although not situated directly on the water, Triad provides comprehensive marine services from its Park Street location. Boaters entering the harbor will find a variety of amenities, including five easily accessible wharves and a short-term transient dinghy dock (two-day maximum). Adjacent to the town wharf are Shipyard Park and Munro Preserve, both popular gathering places for summer events and waterfront relaxation, complete with picnic tables and benches. Munro Preserve is also a favorite spot for dog walking and harbor-side picnics. Convenient nearby provisions make it simple to restock during your visit. Seaport Ice Cream Slip, located directly on the town wharf, offers ice along with a variety of food items and morning coffee. Just up the hill, Town Wharf General Store provides supplies and locally inspired gifts. Across the street, The Inn at Shipyard Park is a popular dining destination where guests can enjoy live entertainment and harbor views. From the town wharf, it is an easy walk to Mattapoisett Town Beach, known for its sandy shoreline and calm waters—perfect for families and a relaxing day by the harbor.
