Gateway Marina offers a safe and convenient location to dock your vessel, with excellent access to Brooklyn and New York City. The marina can haul vessels up to 35 tons and handle fiberglass work. Since Moonbeam began operating the marina in April 2018, significant improvements have been made to enhance the experience for boaters. Upgrades include cleaned and repaired floating docks, replacement of old dock pilings, repaired electricity and water systems, re-graded parking with potholes filled, free Wi-Fi, improved security, and a fully staffed marina office operating seven days a week. Additional enhancements include new golf carts for courtesy transportation and ongoing repairs to I Dock South. Gateway Marina continues to invest in a master plan for the facility, which will feature a new security booth, modern bathrooms, perimeter fencing, a state-of-the-art breakwater system, upgraded docks and marina entrance, a new office, clubhouse, store, café, travel well, and a 50-ton travel lift.
