Description
Metung Marina is a marina facility located on Bancroft Bay in Metung, Victoria, within the Gippsland Lakes region. The marina is owned and operated by East Gippsland Shire Council and provides approximately 120 berths and 24 dry berths, with temporary berthing available from one week to three months subject to availability.
The marina provides a range of practical facilities for boat owners, including secured access, a boat washdown area, boat ramp, slop hopper, crane facilities, toilets, showers, laundry, pontoon access and small craft ramps. Power and fresh water are also supplied to the marina jetties.
Metung Marina is conveniently located on the main road into the village and is only around a five-minute walk from the town centre. The surrounding area offers restaurants, cafés, bars, accommodation and local shops, while the Metung Yacht Club is located directly across the road from the marina.
Fuel and pump-out facilities are available nearby at Chinamans Creek, while the wider Metung waterfront provides additional boating and recreational facilities.
