Description
Margate Marina is a full-service waterfront marina located at 40 Marina Drive, Barretta, Tasmania, approximately 20 minutes south of Hobart. It sits on the sheltered D’Entrecasteaux Channel, providing convenient access to some of southern Tasmania’s most popular cruising waters.
The marina offers around 130 floating berths ranging from 10 to 40 metres, with both casual and long-term berthing options. Berths are equipped with power and fresh water, while the marina also provides hardstand and trailer boat storage for vessels up to 60 feet.
Margate Marina has a dedicated slipyard for boat maintenance and repairs, with facilities for launching and retrieving vessels up to 23 tonnes. A dual fuel and pump-out pontoon provides self-service diesel and unleaded fuel 24/7, while free pump-out is available during office hours. The marina also provides secure gated access, 24-hour CCTV, laundry, showers and a courtesy car for marina customers.
