Description
Motor Yacht Club of Tasmania is a waterfront yacht and boating club located at Lindisfarne on the River Derwent, just outside Hobart, Tasmania. The club operates a marina with 150 floating berths, making it one of Tasmania’s larger floating marinas. It also provides moorings, dinghy storage, cages and hardstand facilities.
The marina offers a slipway for vessel maintenance, with two slips and a maximum capacity of 15 tonnes on the larger slip. A fuel wharf supplies diesel and unleaded fuel to both members and non-members. The club also has marine businesses and contractors on site providing additional boating and maintenance services.
The clubhouse overlooks the River Derwent and includes Reflections Restaurant, a café and bar, as well as function facilities. It provides a convenient combination of marina services, boating facilities, dining and waterfront amenities.
