Description
The Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania (RYCT) operates a modern marina in Sandy Bay, Hobart, Tasmania, on the western shore of the River Derwent. The marina has approximately 210 berths ranging from 10 to 20 metres, with temporary berthing available for larger visiting vessels. All berths provide access to electricity and fresh water.
The marina provides a comprehensive range of boating facilities, including floating and fixed berths, a slipway, hardstand, boat launching facilities, fuel, trailer parking, storage facilities and qualified marine trade contractors. The fuel dock supplies both diesel and unleaded petrol, with 24-hour access for marina users.
Visitors can also use showers, toilets, laundry facilities and Wi-Fi, while secure onsite parking and restricted marina access provide additional convenience and security.
The RYCT clubhouse is located directly beside the marina and includes a restaurant/bistro and bar, offering dining with views over the marina and River Derwent. The club is also close to central Hobart, Salamanca and the Hobart Waterfront.
