Description
Royal Yacht Club of Victoria is a historic yacht club and marina located at 120 Nelson Place, Williamstown, Victoria, on the waterfront of Hobsons Bay overlooking Melbourne. The club was originally founded as the Port Phillip Yacht Club in 1853 and remains one of Australia's oldest yacht clubs.
The marina provides more than 170 wet berthing facilities for vessels up to 25 metres. All berths have access to power and fresh water, while visitor berthing is available on a limited basis. The club also provides fuel, locker storage and courtesy trolleys for marina users.
Marine facilities include a 28,000 kg travel lift, two cranes and extensive hardstand storage, with marine services and contractors available on site. Clubhouse facilities include a dining room, bar, showers and additional bathroom facilities.
