Description
Milford Cruising Club Inc. is a family-oriented boating and sailing club located on the Milford Estuary on Auckland’s North Shore. The club is positioned beside Milford Marina and provides access to sheltered waters, with its clubhouse overlooking the marina, Milford Reserve and the surrounding waterfront. The facility is well suited to recreational boating, sailing and cruising activities, with the club supporting sailors and boat owners through its sailing programmes and boating facilities.
The club also operates its own slipway and hardstand maintenance area, allowing members to haul out and store vessels for maintenance. The slipway uses a trolley and cradle and can accommodate vessels up to approximately 13 metres, while access to the hardstand and slipway is restricted to financial club members. The clubhouse provides a licensed bar, restaurant/function space, Wi-Fi and a large deck overlooking the marina, with free public parking available nearby.
