Description
Thames Sailing Club is a family-friendly sailing club established in 1943 and located at Tararu Bay on the Thames Coast. It offers dinghy and keelboat sailing, racing, cruising, regattas and sailing training for different ages and experience levels.
The club has purpose-built clubrooms with a lounge, observation deck, race-control tower, changing rooms and kitchen. Its small tidal marina is located at Jellicoe Crescent near Shortland Wharf, and the club also operates a hardstand with haul-out facilities and cradle hire. Small boats can be launched from the beach or boat ramp, while the harbour’s tidal conditions should be considered when arranging access
