Description
Pearl Harbour is a small harbour at the outlet of Lake Manapouri, where the Waiau River begins. It serves as a departure point for ferry and water-taxi services crossing Lake Manapouri, including trips connected with the Manapouri hydroelectric power station and Doubtful Sound.
The harbour also provides access to the lake for recreational boat users. It has a wharf and public boat-launching facilities, but I could not verify that it operates as a managed recreational marina with bookable berths.
