Description
Port of Greymouth is a commercial harbour at the mouth of the Grey River on New Zealand’s West Coast. It serves cargo and fishing vessels, with cargo wharves on the river and fishing-boat berths in Erua Moana Lagoon. The harbour entrance crosses a bar, and conditions and depths can vary with weather and river flow.
The port has a slipway for vessel haul-out and maintenance, with power and water available at designated berths and pontoons. It is primarily a working port, so recreational vessel access and use of facilities should be arranged with the Port Manager in advance.
