Description
Nelson Marina is located in the sheltered waters of Nelson Haven, next to Port Nelson and within walking distance of Nelson city centre. It has approximately 591 berths, including permanent and visitor berths, with most berths suitable for vessels around 10–15 metres and larger berths available for boats up to 25 metres. The marina is a convenient base for exploring Tasman Bay and the Marlborough Sounds.
The marina provides visitor and long-term berthing, a public boat ramp, haul-out and hardstand services, and access to nearby marine maintenance businesses. Berth facilities include potable water and power, while onshore amenities include toilets, showers and laundry. Free public Wi-Fi is available in the Marina Lounge, and public parking is available nearby.
