Description
The Lakes Marina Project is more than simply a place to berth watercraft; it is a carefully planned system designed to provide safe and practical access to the lake. The marina supports alternative transport options while serving local residents, as well as the tourism and adventure sectors.
Queenstown Marina is a world-class facility located on the shores of Lake Wakatipu. It caters to both long-term and short-term users, offering a comprehensive range of marina services.
Lakes Marina Projects Ltd (LMP) has implemented a set of rules to ensure the efficient and harmonious operation of Queenstown Marina. These rules are designed to safeguard the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of berth holders and visitors.
Short-term and day users may moor their vessels and access marina services at daily or weekly rates. Self-service fuel pumps located on the breakwater dispense both diesel and petrol, with fuelling available from either side. Members of the public can refuel on the outside of the floating attenuator. A sewage pump-out station is situated adjacent to the fuel pumps.
Valet cleaning and maintenance services are available for an additional fee, helping vessel owners keep their boats in optimal condition.
Public areas of the marina are open during standard business hours. The entire facility is monitored by video surveillance, and berth access is strictly managed through an access control system. Parking areas are also access-controlled, with secure parking available for marina clients and the general public in close proximity to the marina.
