Description
Waikawa Marina is a large, well-equipped marina on Beach Road in Waikawa, approximately five minutes by car from Picton. Set in the sheltered waters of Queen Charlotte Sound, it provides around 600 berths for vessels from 8 to 20 metres, along with boatsheds and secure parking compounds. The marina is a convenient base for exploring the Marlborough Sounds and is close to Picton’s shops, cafés and other services.
The marina offers fuel, shore power, town water, coin-operated laundry and shower facilities, and haul-out and hardstand services through Waikawa Marine Centre. The service centre provides access to marine repairers, engineers, riggers, boat painters, chandlery and other boating businesses. Casual berthing is available, with a designated short-stay visitor berth in front of Waikawa Boating Club.
