Description
Wānaka Marina is situated on the eastern shore of Roys Bay, on Lake Wānaka, with views towards the mountains of Mount Aspiring National Park. Its sheltered location provides protection from prevailing winds and serves as a base for berth holders using the lake.
The marina is privately managed, and berth holders and shareholders must follow its rules and licence conditions. General public access to the marina structure is not permitted. Marina management provides berth maintenance and related services, including assistance with fenders, dock lines and ropes. Public boat launching facilities, toilets and parking are available in the nearby Wānaka Marina Reserve, but these are separate from the private marina.
