Description
Tairua Marina is located at the base of Paku Hill, close to the entrance of Tairua Harbour on the Coromandel Peninsula. Completed in 2014, the marina has 95 berths ranging from approximately 8.4 to 25 metres and provides a sheltered base for recreational boats exploring the Coromandel coast.
The marina has adjoining clubrooms with management and boater amenities. A public-use fuel station offers diesel and 95-octane marine petrol, and a nearby sand ramp provides boat-launching access. Tairua Harbour is tidal, and access to open water depends on the depth of the harbour bar, so boaters should check conditions before entering or leaving.
