Description
Gold Coast Marine Centre was a marina and boatyard facility in Coomera, Queensland, located on the Coomera River at 200 Beattie Road, Coomera QLD 4209. Historical Queensland Government marine information describes it as a combined boatyard, manufacturing facility and marina, specialising in vessels up to approximately 26 metres (85 ft).
The marina had approximately 30 berths, with power and water supplied to all berths. The facility also operated a 70-tonne boat lift and Sea-Lift, supporting both monohulls and multihulls. Its boatyard covered approximately 25,000 m², including covered refit bays, workshops and around 17,000 m² of open hardstand.
Marine services included water blasting, antifouling, painting, fibreglass repairs, timber repairs, engineering, electrical work, air-conditioning and refrigeration, propeller and shaft work, mast and rigging, boat covers and upholstery.
