We can accommodate vessels up to 65 feet and look forward to welcoming you for your next stay in Newport. Upon arrival, please contact us on VHF Channel 68, where our experienced team will be ready to assist you. Please note that launch service is not included in the cost of the mooring. Centrally located in downtown Newport, our moorings are just a short launch ride from shops, hotels, restaurants, historic Fort Adams, and many other popular attractions. Our knowledgeable launch drivers can also drop guests off within walking distance of Newport’s mansions, beaches, and museums. Whether you choose to explore town or relax aboard your vessel, Oldport Marine offers easy access to everything Newport has to offer. Check-out time is noon. We accept cash, American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa for payment. All moorings are positioned at the direction of the Newport Harbormaster. Due to shifting winds, tides, currents, or storm conditions, vessels may swing, mooring anchors may drag, and contact between vessels may occur. Oldport Marine is not responsible for such incidents. Renters are responsible for properly securing all roller reefing jibs before leaving the vessel unattended and for ensuring chafing gear is correctly placed and secured. Oldport Marine does not assume care, custody, or control of the renter’s vessel or pennant and is not responsible for damage caused by the renter’s mooring buoy, adjacent mooring buoys, or pennant failure due to chafing. While Oldport Marine has taken every reasonable step to provide safe moorings, no warranty or representation is made regarding the fitness of the facilities for their intended use. The renter agrees that Oldport Marine is not responsible for injury, damage, or loss to the vessel, renter, or guests from any cause. The renter further agrees to indemnify and hold Oldport Marine harmless from any claims, damages, costs, or legal actions, including attorney’s fees, arising from acts of God, fire, windstorm, explosion, flood, burglary, theft, or any other casualty. Oldport Marine reserves the right to terminate a renter’s stay at any time. In the event the National Weather Service issues storm watches or warnings predicting sustained winds of 50 MPH or greater in Narragansett Bay, vessel owners are required to remove their boats from the moorings. Our moorings accommodate vessels up to 65 feet; vessels exceeding this length must contact the Newport Harbormaster on VHF Channel 16. Launch service is not included in the transient mooring fee. Current launch rates are as follows: • Main Harbor & Brenton Cove: $5 per person, each way • Point Section: $5 per person, each way • Seasonal Launch Pass (private vessels): $900
