Description
Townsville Yacht Club & Marina is a waterfront yacht club and marina located at 1 Plume Street, South Townsville, Queensland. The club operates a large floating marina and provides facilities for both recreational and competitive sailing and boating. The marina was developed with 162 pontoon berths for vessels from 10 to 20 metres, while the current marina regulations list 150 floating berths for vessels up to 19 metres, with visiting facilities for larger vessels.
The club offers waterfront dining at The Deck Restaurant, a bar, sailing and yacht racing programs, showers, laundry and toilet facilities, as well as marina services for members and visiting vessels. The marina is situated close to Townsville's CBD, Palmer Street dining precinct and nearby accommodation.
