Burnham Harbor is located within walking distance of downtown Chicago and sits along the city’s renowned Museum Campus. As the largest harbor in the Chicago Harbors system, it offers spectacular skyline views and is surrounded by iconic attractions including Adler Planetarium, Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum, Soldier Field, and McCormick Place. The harbor is also home to Burnham Park Yacht Club. With 1,126 slips, mooring cans, and star docks, Burnham Harbor accommodates vessels ranging from approximately 28’ to 100’+ in length.
Transient dockage is available. The harbor features a fuel dock offering both gasoline and diesel, a Ship’s Store with on-site laundry facilities, and complimentary waste pump-out service. A three-lane launch ramp is available, with parking for approximately 43 vehicles with trailers. The harbor monitors VHF Channels 9 and 16, with Channel 71 as the working channel.
