Monroe Harbor is ideally situated in the heart of downtown Chicago. Its 390 mooring cans form the centerpiece of the city’s iconic skyline panorama, making it one of the most recognizable and historic harbors within the Chicago Harbors system. With a strong community of longtime boaters, Monroe Harbor is cherished for its tradition and nostalgic character at the foot of the city. It is also home to Chicago Yacht Club and Columbia Yacht Club, further establishing it as a focal point of the lakefront. A convenient and frequent tender service is available; please hail Channel 68 for pick-up. The harbor accommodates vessels ranging from 25’ to 80’ in length, and transient moorings are available. Complimentary waste pump-out service is located at the northern end of the harbor. Monroe Harbor monitors VHF Channels 9 and 16, with Channel 68 designated as the working channel.
